were eight members present.
2. PRESIDENT’S DIARY

Income and Expenditure schedules were circulated.
UEA have invoiced for last year’s lecture and Carters are to be invoiced for this.
4. NEWSLETTER
Due to a continuing heavy workload, Philip Durban is resigning as newsletter editor. He will complete the current issue and ensure a smooth handover. It was agreed that all Practices be approached and given the opportunity to volunteer as “Guest Editor” for one quarter only.
5. NAA REPRESENTATIVES
Relevant ISE talks will be put on the NAA CPD website.
6. CPD
The Law and JCT Updates seminar will be held on 5th October at the Swallow Nelson Hotel with Sarah Lupton as speaker.
Discussion took place on how to proceed with this and John Clarke and David Ford will be asked to look into the practicalities of putting the exhibition onto a PowerPoint presentation.
8. NORWICH LECTURE
Robin Nicholson of Edward Cullinan will speak at the Lecture on Tuesday 24th October.
9. ANY OTHER BUSINESS
An NAA member has brought to the attention of Council an article in a July issue of the EDP referring to a non-architect as an architect. As a reporter and not the person himself made the reference, ARB cannot do anything about it. It was agreed that, in future, any such incidents should be dealt with as soon as possible after they have appeared in print.
Michael Innes is keen to form a Norwich and Norfolk Forum “to anticipate and influence issues before the dice are cast”. This will be discussed further at the next meeting.
10. DATE OF NEXT MEETING
The next meeting will be held on Monday 9th October at the offices of LSI Architects LLP at 4.30 pm.
