REPORT OF THE MEETING ON MONDAY 12th JULY

There were ten members present.

 

  1. PREVIOUS MINUTES

Minutes of the meeting dated 14th June were accepted as a true record.

 

  1. MATTERS ARISING

There were no matters arising.

 

  1. CORRESPONDENCE

No items of correspondence

 

  1. RIBA COUNCIL

  1. ACCOUNTS

Income and Expenditure Account schedules were distributed

 

  1. NEWSLETTER

The newsletter has been distributed and thanks were extended to Philip Durban for a superb newsletter.

 

  1. NAA REPRESENTATIVES

Steven Phillips has resigned as Student Representative.  Ruth Brennan volunteered to take on this role in addition to that of BIAT representative.

 

It was agreed that a member of the RTPI should be invited to sit on Council

 

The NAJCC Annual Meeting will be held on 22nd July.

 

  1. NORWICH MARKET PLACE

Mike Innes advised the meeting that a basic approach has been agreed and will be presented to the public on 13th July.  A planning application is proposed for early August with work on site commencing January 2005. 

 

  1. EXHIBITION

A new approach to the exhibition was presented to the meeting and David Ford will be emailing members soon.


  1. AGM

Arrangements for the 2005 AGM were discussed and plans are being made.

 

  1. NORWICH LECTURE

Sir Nicholas Grimshaw has been confirmed as the speaker for the 2004 Lecture. 

 

  1. ABS

Ideas for raising funds for the ABS were discussed with some ideas put forward.  

 

  1. NEXT MEETING

The next meeting will be held on Monday 13th September
