REPORT OF THE MEETING ON MONDAY 12th June 2004
There
were eleven members present.
Minutes
of the meeting dated 10th May were accepted as a true record.
Carters have agreed to increase their sponsorship of the Norwich Lecture.
A response has been received from the ARB regarding the letter submitted on behalf of the NAA regarding the issuing of ARB meeting minutes.
Richard Hastilow, RIBA chief executive has expressed an interest in attending a branch event.
Shaping the Future are discussing media coverage with a number of local architects practices.
All other correspondence relates to items in these minutes.
Chris Heuvel attended a RIBA Council meeting. The new Code of Conduct was discussed.
Income and Expenditure Account schedules were distributed
The
newsletter is ready to be proof-read and go to press.
A
change in the internal organisation of the Institute of Structural Engineers
was discussed.
A
brief report of the last Quality Panel meeting was presented.
LSI
Architects have been appointed architects for this project. Stallholders supported the appointment of
Mike Innes.
Nothing to report.
The
AGM was considered to be a success but further efforts will be made to increase
attendance next year.
Sir
Nicholas Grimshaw has been confirmed as the speaker for the 2004 Lecture. Date to be confirmed.
NAA
are organising a tour around the County Archive Centre.
Ideas
for raising funds for the ABS were discussed and will be discussed at future
meetings.
The
next meeting will be held on Monday 12th July.
