REPORT OF THE MEETING ON THURSDAY 5TH MAY
2005
There were nine
members present.
A
letter has been received from ABS thanking NAA for their donation.
Tony
Cleary has attended the Design and Decoration Awards at Chelsea Harbour held on
9th June.
Income and Expenditure schedules were distributed. Expenditure on the Craftsmanship Awards was higher than in previous years.
5. NEWSLETTER
The Spring newsletter has been distributed but, unfortunately, the incorrect postage was used resulting in many members having to pay excess postage and collect it from their local post office. An email to members was sent out as soon as we were alerted to the problem suggesting members do not collect their newsletter and that we would send out another batch. Unfortunately, due to some members not being on email, we were unable to contact everyone.
6. CPD
The Riverside Suite at the Swallow Nelson Hotel has been booked for 6th October for a TRADA seminar. It was agreed that a cost of £35 per head should be levied for this event.
Tony Cleary attended a very interesting exhibition at the Forum on 23rd April and it was agreed that this years project had, once again, been extremely successful. Thanks were extended to Roy Payne for organising the event.

Saturday 18th June Tour of the Time and Tide Museum
Wednesday 22nd June Tour of Norwich Landmarks starting at the Forum and ending at the Cathedral

9. NORFOLK BUILDINGS REGISTER
Philip Durban has designed a proto-type website for a Norfolk Buildings Register. The idea is that it will form a comprehensive catalogue of buildings in Norfolk or by Norfolk contractors and that the contractors will pay to be included. This can be found on www.norfolkbuildings.co.uk. Philip would welcome comments.
10. DATE OF NEXT MEETING
The next meeting will be held on Monday 13th June 2005
