REPORT OF THE MEETING ON MONDAY 17th JULY 2006

There were eleven members present.  John Clarke chaired the meeting

 

2.     PRESIDENT’S DIARY

Income and Expenditure schedules were circulated.

 

4.      NEWSLETTER

5.      NAA REPRESENTATIVES

David Thompson reported as follows:

·        RIBA East AGM is on 2nd August at UEA.

·        Ben Koralek of SHAPE Architecture in Cambridge has sadly died.

·        There will be five new members joining the Quality Panel.  David Thompson is to step down as Chair.

·        Inspire East has no qualified architect on their Board.  David Thompson has been selected to join.

·        RIBA East Awards jury visits will take place on 18, 19 and 27 July.

·        David Thompson attended the M&RC meeting in Birmingham.

 

6.      CPD

Arrangements are in hand for the Law and JCT Updates seminar.

There will be a talk at SNDC about the changes in planning law on 3rd August 2006.

 

  1. EXHIBITION AND POSTER

David Ford and John Clark will meet to decide how the exhibition and poster can tie in with the BA Science Festival.

 

8.      NORWICH LECTURE

Robin Nicholson of Edward Cullinan will speak at the Lecture on Tuesday 24th October.

 

9.      DATE OF NEXT MEETING

The next meeting will be held on Monday 11th September at the offices of LSI Architects LLP at 4.30 pm.
