REPORT OF MEETING ON THURSDAY 15TH

REGIONAL COUNCIL
There is still no news about the
NAA bid for a projector
3.
CPD
Progress is being made on the Low Carbon Architecture event and it will now be held on Thursday 26th June in the Colin Chapman room at Hethel Engineering Centre
4. AGM 2008 – Thursday 15th May
The sponsor for this event is now CNC Consultancy Services.
5.
WEDNESDAY ARCHITECTS FORUM
A list of possible topics was drawn
up and agreement with the Maddermarket to hold the
events there will be sorted out by the next meeting. The first WAF of the new season will be in
October.
6.
ARCHITECTURE WEEK
An exhibition of Architects work is planned for sometime towards the end of July and practices will be invited to submit two boards – one built and one conceptual.
7. EDUCATION
This will be discussed more fully at the June meeting.
8.
NORWICH LECTURE
The proposed date for this is Thursday 13th November.
9.
PRACTICE LEAFLET
This will be discussed more fully at the June meeting.
10.
QUALITY PANEL
Charles Emberson will represent the NAA on the Quality Panel and will report to the NAA after each meeting.
11.
EDP ARTICLE
The monthly column is not appearing in the Property section as agreed and it was felt that it may not necessarily be the right place for some of the articles. Efforts will be made to get a column elsewhere in the paper.
12.
