REPORT OF MEETING ON MONDAY 7th

REGIONAL COUNCIL
Mike Innes attended the Regional
Council meeting where lengthy discussion took place on Protection of
Title. Steve Kearney is setting up a
working party for the purpose of engaging in the local development
strategies. Mike Innes is keen to be
involved. The RIBA Awards dinner is on
26th September. The RIBA is
175 years old in 2009 and there is, as yet, no news on the NAA bid for a
projector.

CPD
The new date for this event is 23rd October 2008 at the UEA.
4.
WEDNESDAY ARCHITECTS FORUM
The dates are now available for a new membership card which is to be sponsored by Robert Bilbie. It is hoped to circulate these in August.
5.
ARCHITECTURE WEEK
It has been impossible to secure exhibition space at The Forum for a complete week in 2008 so it is planned to hold an exhibition in conjunction with the 2009 Norwich Lecture, an Architecture in Schools/education event and an event to publicise small works.
6. EDP ARTICLE
John Clarke has met with the Business Editor of the EDP to discuss ways of raising the profile of architecture in the EDP.

The date for this is Thursday 13th November.

PRACTICE LEAFLET
It was agreed to get costings for a postcard size card to distribute to Planning Offices.
