REPORT OF MEETING ON MONDAY 9th

PRESENT
There were eleven members present

ACCOUNTS
The accounts for the year to 31.12.08 were presented to the meeting and will be amended to reflect the UEA as an outstanding creditor.
3.
WEDNESDAY ARCHITECTS FORUM
The March Forum will be on 4th March on Theatre Architecture.
4.
CRAFTSMANSHIP AWARDS
The date for the Dinner has been confirmed as 6th July.
5. AGM – King of Hearts – 14th May 2009
Sunand Prasad is to be asked to speak at the AGM. Sponsorship will not be sought for this event and refreshments will not be provided.
6.
FESTIVAL FOR ARCHITECTURE IN NORFOLK AND NORWICH (FANN)
The organisation of this event is continuing.
7.
PRACTICE CARD
This has not been taken any further and it was agreed that the cards would be A5.
8.
EDP ARTICLE
The NAA will now write a column approximately every 8 weeks for the business section of the EDP. The NAA will continue to look for a suitable platform to write for the general public.
9.
CPD
Large practices have been asked to put their CPD events on the NAA events website. A spring CPD event on Building Regulations is to be organised.
10.
TALL BUILDINGS
The NAA is to formulate a response to the Norwich Society document on Tall Buildings.
11.
